Bodin Performance Hockey ("we", "our", "us") operates the Bodin Performance Hockey mobile application. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. At registration we ask you to confirm you are 18 or older; we do not collect your date of birth. When you add player profiles, we collect player names, age groups, and skill levels. We do not collect precise location data, and we do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
Payments are processed by Helcim Inc., a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Your card details are entered directly into Helcim's secure payment form and are never stored on or transmitted through our servers. We store only a transaction reference ID for refund processing.
We use a small set of third-party services to operate the app. We do not sell your data; these providers only process information on our behalf to deliver the service.
• Helcim Inc. — processes card payments and refunds. Helcim receives the data you enter at checkout (card details, name, email). See Helcim's privacy policy at helcim.com/privacy.
• Expo (expo.io) — delivers push notifications. When you enable notifications, we send a device push token and the notification contents to Expo's delivery infrastructure.
• Gmail SMTP (Google) — sends transactional emails, including password reset codes and booking receipts. Google receives your email address and the email content.
We use your information to: manage your account and bookings, process payments and refunds, send booking confirmations and schedule change notifications, and communicate with you about your lessons. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
With your permission, we send push notifications for booking confirmations, schedule changes, lesson reminders, and cancellations. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen, which permanently removes all your personal data, player profiles, booking history, and payment records from our systems. Any upcoming paid bookings are automatically cancelled and refunded as part of account deletion.
All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using TLS. Passwords are hashed using scrypt and are never stored in plain text. Access to our database is restricted to authenticated server processes.
Our service is intended for use by parents and guardians to book lessons for their children. Accounts may only be created by individuals 18 years of age or older. Player profiles for minors are created and managed by the parent or guardian account holder.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by deleting your account in the app or contacting us at (951) 992-2473.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app.
